Seven Spiritual Laws of success The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success:

A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams (Hardcover)
by Deepak Chopra

From Library Journal
Teilhard de Chardin said, "We are spiritual beings having a human experience." Chopra builds on this powerful thought in this book that expands his life's work in spiritual approaches to daily living. He explains the laws of pure potentiality, giving, karma, least effort, intention and desire, detachment, and dharma and includes useful suggestions on how to apply these fundamental, natural principles if one is truly searching for purpose and a satisfying life.

Why Use Handouts?
They allow you to provide more detailed information than you would put on a slide. They give your audience something to take away from your presentation, to review later. They are one more way for your listeners to be reminded of you and your key messages.

Plateaus - Why Your Fat Loss Stops
Today I’m posting an excerpt from one of two recent teleseminars featuring fat loss excerpt Tom Venuto. Tom had them transcribed and turned into ebooks and MP3 audios that he’s actually giving away for free as part of a 3 day special promotion ending February 14th. Go to http://www.consultpivotal.com/Aburn_the_fat.htm for more information on that.

Structure your speech for Maximum Impact
To create an impact with your speech or presentation, the audience has to “get” the message. That means they have to be able to hear it and to understand it. And to do that, first they must listen. So the very first step in this whole process is to gain their attention and then keep it, so that they listen, hear what you say, understand it, and then they can be influenced by it … which is, after all, the essence of impact. There are several strategies to keep attention and the one we’re looking at here is designing the structure of your speech. That structure has to work flawlessly to keep attention, and you can also use it to make you message absolutely clear. “Tell them what you’re going to say. Say it. Then tell them what you said”
And that is so true!!

What’s Your Diet Personality?

I recently took an online survey that promised to reveal my “diet personality.” The creators of the test had assured me that my weight loss endeavors had probably failed because I had not yet tried the diet that best fits me.
At first glance, this seemed like a gimmick, but after thinking about it, I realized there’s a lot of truth in the test-maker’s statement.
