Publicity Strategy for your organisation
I have taken this strategy from a suggestion made by John Stanley, a conference speaker and retail consultant. He was writing to encourage publicity for libraries, but the idea would work just as well for many organisations. http://groworganisation.wordpress.com/2007/09/26/publicity-strategy-for-your-organisation-2/

Boys learning
... If a boy prefers to sit on the floor, he can lower his desk to accommodate that preference as well. Stahler told me that the performance of her boys improved “200 percent” when she eliminated the requirement that students sit quietly in the classroom.

Three things to improve your writing rhythm
By Michele Pariza Wacek
As a professional copywriter, not only do I do a lot of writing but I also look at a lot of writing. One of the things I've noticed that sets the good/great writers from the so so is rhythm.

2nd June

The meeting was great - good to work with professionals who can see solutions to problems so quickly.

One thing I'm really pleased about is that we will have Surf Lifesavers to form the guard of honour for the international board. Our international president loves swimming and particularly the sea, so it will be a tribute to her as well.

This year is the year of the life saver, so it is doubly valuable.

There are also heaps of resources on surf lifesavers for education.

An innovation process and software framework
In a recent press release, Archstone consulting reports on its findings in a recent survey on innovation. According to their survey, over 70% of the firms they talked to were planning to increase investment in innovation, yet over 50% were dissatisfied with the results of their innovation initiatives to date. Only 5% claimed to have “a highly effective innovation process”.Clearly there’s a significant disconnect between these figures, and we believe one of the important reasons is that innovation is still so poorly defined from a process and systems perspective.
